I’m Rachel, the human behind Mother Star Healing.
I am a certified Usui Holy Fire Reiki Master,
500 RYT, Sound Bath Facilitator, and Meditation Guide.
As I have many roles in my healing practice,
I know I will have the right modality for you.

ABOUT THE NAME, MOTHER STAR HEALING:
When I first created the name behind my healing practice,
a male friend mentioned that it may not be inclusive to men.
He thought that Mother Star Healing, was female focused, specifically mothers.
I would just like to clear the space here and say,
this is not the case, by any means.
In start, my name Rachel,
Hebrew for "Ewe" or "Lamb."
In Jewish tradition, Rachel is remembered as a compassionate figure, symbolic of the MOTHER who mourns and intercedes for her children. To me, the words mother and lamb equate to honoring the gentle nurturing of all living beings.
Aside from that,
it is my belief that the nurturing protection and warm embrace of a loving mother is one of the highest forms of healing.
In my sessions, I feel it is likened to being in the mother womb, where we felt our safest and most protected.
To add to the story, during my journey into healing,
I was guided to a deck of cards,
The Wandering Star Tarot,
created by singer-songwriter Cat Pierce.
I pulled only one card, it was the Mother Star card.
This card represents helping people connect with their intuition, thereby promoting their own healing, How fitting!
This has been my intention throughout my journey as a healer,
so as you can imagine,
I felt the message of this card quite deeply.
Hence, the birth of
MOTHER STAR HEALING.
